Bright Idea - Control a Group of Recessed Lights Individually

It's been a problem since canned lighting was first installed. One person is reading in the family room so wants the light above them at 100% brightness but their spouse is watching TV and wants the lights dimmed to 20%. But the entire room’s overhead lighting is controlled by one switch. With Micro-Dimmer Modules, you can create zoned lighting to solve the problem.

• Install a Micro Dimmer Switch Module on each recessed light in the room
• Swap out the existing switch for an Insteon Keypad
• Create Scenes within the Insteon Director app for a variety of lighting moods. For example, READING MOOD for the situation above, or MOVIE MOOD to have all lights dim to a certain percentage

Control the lights via buttons on the keypad, the Director app itself, or with a voice assistant, like Alexa or Google Home
