I find these units work very well but kind of small for my hand or to find in a drawer or whatever. I used white PLA to print a holder that can either be used table top, in a drawer or screwed to wall. The holder is about the size of a standard light switch plate so blends well on the wall. I have used both the 4 and 8 scene units and like them both. The 4 scene is better understood by novice users since understanding the toggle nature of the on/off of the 8 scene is easy to use once you understand it but is less intuitive than the 4 scene unit.
It's a nice handy device, easy for parents to control the lights.
Initially had some issues setting it up but with the help from Insteon tech setting up was easy.

Much better than its predecessor. Provides me more options to manually control my lights.
