While this beta hub offers the same dependable control you already rely on, it’s built on a more powerful foundation with enhanced performance and increased memory. Your feedback will help us refine features and guide future capabilities.

Two Ways to Participate
When joining the beta, you’ll choose one of two paths:
1. Migration Option
- Moves your current Insteon Hub 2 configuration to the beta hub.
- Includes devices, scenes, schedules, and device properties.
- Recommended for users who want a direct continuation of their current setup.
2. New Installation
- Factory reset all your devices and rebuild your Insteon network from the ground up.
- Perfect for users who want a clean slate or are open to manually reconfiguring devices, scenes, and schedules.
Both paths provide valuable feedback, and either qualifies you for the same rewards: $50 gift card when you successfully migrate or add at least 10 devices, and $50 gift card when you complete the final beta survey.
Why We Charge for Beta Participation
We’ve found that committed participants provide the most valuable feedback. To ensure serious engagement, we are charging for the beta unit. However, testers who complete the program can receive $100 back in the form of gift cards toward future orders on insteon.com:
How Your Beta Purchase Is Refunded
- $50 Gift Card: Earned when you successfully migrate to the beta hub or add at least 10 devices (if you choose not to migrate).
- $50 Gift Card: Issued when you complete the concluding beta survey.
So you'll receive $100 back while you help shape the next generation of Insteon technology.
What to Expect as a Beta Tester
- Your beta hub will begin with core functionality and receive updates during the program to add new features and improvements.
- You’ll be asked to provide feedback and complete a short survey at the end of the program.
- Beta feedback helps guide future feature development and ensure a smooth experience for all customers when the hub is released broadly.
