Replace the included buttons on your Insteon keypad with clear buttons, which allow you to print your own labels and insert them into the clear caps. Download template to assist in creating your custom labels.
This set includes two large and eight small buttons, so you'll have enough to personalize your Keypad whether you set it up in the 6-button or 8-button configuration.

Orders placed with FedEx Intl Priority, FedEx 2 Day, or FedEx Overnight by 12pm PT (Monday-Friday, non-holiday) are expected to ship same day. Orders placed after 12pm PT are expected to ship the following business day. All other orders are expected to ship within 2 business days
Customers shipping to Canada will be responsible for all duties and import fees which will be due upon receipt.

What I wanted to do was print labels with colors to very much dim and change the lights on our keypads to green for a more sleep friendly environment. It didn’t work.

Please note that the LED brightness level on the keypad itself can be adjusted locally (see below) or via our Director app.
How to adjust indicator brightness locally
6-Button:
Simultaneously tap buttons A & D (or if using custom-etched buttons: top left small button & bottom right small button).
To brighten, press and hold the large top button. To dim, press and hold the large bottom button.
When ready to save, simultaneously tap the same A & D buttons and the keypad will beep.
8-Button:
Simultaneously tap buttons C & F buttons (or if using custom-etched buttons: 2nd button down on left & 3rd button down on right).
Press and hold top left button to brighten , then release and press and hold again to dim the LED, alternating between brightening and dimming until you reach the desired level.
When ready to save, simultaneously tap the same C & F buttons and the keypad will beep.
I was reluctant to go this route vs ordering customized keys. But after waiting a couple of years for them to become available, I finally gave up and decided to go this route. In the end, I was quite happy with this solution. Learned a couple of things - keep your key titles short. They look a lot better that way. It was a pain to get the labels cut the perfect size, but just took a lot of patience. Couple of significant advantages over cutomized keys - cheaper, easier to change if I want to rework things - don't have to worry about letters wearing off with use. In the end, quite happy with them and would definitely recommend.
Been waiting for these to be available again for a while...but somebody really needs to analyze your shipping process. I ordered two sets, both would have fit in one VERY SMALL padded envelope.. instead I paid a huge amount to have these less than one ounce items shipped in a 12 by 12 inch box. The product is great, but the shipping is way too high.

Clear buttons are fine. I would have preferred the option for laser etched buttons.
I've had great success with the Insteon clear button change kit for all my 6- and 8-key keypads. I like to print my own labels on plain white copier paper which works well with the LED back lighting. I use 8, 9, or 10 point fonts depending on the character lengths. I size my labels as follows:
SMALL KEYS:
15/32" H x 13/32" W
0.469" H x 0.406" W
LARGE KEYS:
15/32" H x 31/32" W
0.469" H x 0.969" W
I use Microsoft Visio to lay out my labels because they can be precisely sized and they seem to print out accurately. I put a narrow border around each individual label so I can cut them to size with scissors after printing. This is a very economical way to achieve custom labelling.
