Orders placed with FedEx Intl Priority, FedEx 2 Day, or FedEx Overnight by 12pm PT (Monday-Friday, non-holiday) are expected to ship same day.  Orders placed after 12pm PT are expected to ship the following business day. All other orders are expected to ship within 2 business days

Customers shipping to Canada will be responsible for all duties and import fees which will be due upon receipt.

Be thoughtful on what you use the open/close sensor for.

I am using the sensor for the door from my garage into the house. Location and wireless connection to the rest of the system is great! Small problem with the open/close nature of the sensor is that when the door is closed, the light turns back off. I have jury-rigged a motion sensor to fake-out the open/close sensor as I need the light to remain on when I go into the garage and close the door so the dogs do not get loose.

Insteon Open Close Sensor

This one is not installed yet but I have an identical one on my pantry door which performs flawlessly. I change the battery probably every 6 months or so. Paired with an Insteon on/off switch. I bought this one for a walk in closet which currently has a motion sensor. My wife uses the mirror inside the closet with the door closed so I probably won't end up using it there - bad planning on my part. I will probably put this on the garage door and write a program on the eisy to remind me if the door has been open for x minutes.

Insteon is fine

The technology is great and reasonably priced, but it’s glitchy, not very user friendly, and not very integratabtle. Also, custom service isn’t helpful.
