Updates from Ken - May 24

Hi everyone,

As we approach the one-year anniversary of launching Insteon Technologies, I cannot believe how much we have done in such a short time. From getting product back in stock and releasing the i3 line to the continuous evolution of the Director app and engaging the Insteon community with webinars, surveys, and feedback, it has been quite the journey and we thank you for joining us on it. OK, on to the updates….

Speaking of webinars, our next one will be on our actual one-year anniversary on June 9 at 9AM PT. Please register here and join us as we reflect on the past year and share what’s coming next.

A few months ago, we asked you what products you would like to see in the store. I am happy to share that some of the top vote-getters in that survey are now again available (or will be in the future).

  • Custom Laser-Etched Buttons - We are currently testing laser etching both in-house and with third-party partners

  • Ceiling Fan Controller (2475F) – In stock now. Click here to purchase

  • Low Voltage Controller (2450) – AKA “I/O Linc” is in stock now. Click here to purchase

  • Micro On/Off Module (2443-222) – Expect these to be available this Summer

  • Mini-Remotes (8-scene/2342-222, 4-scene/2342-232, 1-scene/2432-242) – Both the 1-scene and 8-scene are back in stock and you can purchase here. The 4-scene will be more of a Fall timeline

I also have another survey for you today. This one focuses on helping us understand you and how you interact with our products. I hope you will take a few minutes to fill it out. And, as always, if you have additional general feedback, there is a link under my signature to provide that.

On the Director mobile app front, we are thrilled to announce that Mini Remotes are supported in the next release which is coming out this week. Support for the Low Voltage Controller is up next. If you would like to see our plans for future device support, click here.

I also wanted to remind you about our Bright Ideas initiative. We hear so many great stories of how this community uses Insteon technology so we wanted to encourage you to share yours. Just post some photos or a video of your setup on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, tag us with @insteon and use the hashtag #brightideas. We will be re-posting some of the more clever and interesting ones on our official accounts.

Thanks and have a great week!

Ken
